The purpose of the project was conceived by the desire to work with fellow NYWIFT members – Kathi Kennedy (writer/director), Irina Chernikina (cinematographer/editor), Ashley Diane Long  (casting), Carol Dorn (gaffer), Lisa Bonanni (sound).  Our team also included Irina’s longtime friend and producing partner Nivaldo Benedito who provided a delectable craft service and Antonio Melgar as PA, on his very first production. Casting the female lead was easy, once we saw Emily Strugatsky we knew there was no need to look any further – she’s our little star. Casting the male lead was a bit more challenging but Joshua Wagner came on the scene at the last moment and proved to be perfect for the part. The whole project, from concept to post was completed within one month.
